I Catharine Killip late of the Clenagh
Road in the parish of Lezayre Spinster
calling to mind the uncertainty of human
life and revoking all other, do make Declare
and publish this as my last will and testament on manner
following
First I commit my Soul to God and my Body
to Christian Burial
I Give leave and Devise to my Sister
Mary Lace (alias Killip) wife of Phillip
Lace ten pounds as Legacy
I Give leave and Devise to my niece Ann Jane Pass
(alias Stowell) wife of Richard Pass
all the rest residue and remainder of
my Goods real and personal consisting
of lands Houses premises Goods Chattels
and effects of what kind or nature soever
and I nominate Constitute and appoint
the Said Ann Jane Pass whole and Sole
executrix of this my last will and
testament as witness my Subscription
this the twelfth day of December one thousand
nine and three 1903.

The humble petition of Ann
Jane Pass of No. 2 Tower Road
in the town of Ramsey widow.
Sheweth
That Catharine Killip late of the Clanagh
Road Sulby in the parish of Lezayre spinster died
on or about the 5th day of January 1906 having
first duly made and executed her last will and
testament bearing date the 12th day of December
1903 whereof she appointed your petitioner sole
executrix.
That your petitioner is desirous that
Probate of the said will should be granted to her.
Wherefore your petitioner
prays a hearing hereof and that
Your Honor may be pleased to ~
grant Probate of the said
will of the said Catharine Killip to your
petitioner and she will ever pray.

Will of Catherine Killip late of the
Clenagh Road Sulby, Lezayre spinster
KNOW all men by these presents that we Ann Jane
Pass of Tower Road Ramsey widow
John Fairnington of the town of Ramsey builder
and Robert Corkill of Ramsey porter
are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound unto our
Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of Five pounds
to the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said
Lord the King, his heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves
jointly and severally and any two of us jointly, our Executors and
Administrators, firmly by these presents.
As witness our subscriptions the 12th day of
February in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred
and six
THE CONDITION of our obligation is such, that if the
above-named Ann Jane Pass ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
(hereinafter called “the Executrix”) who seeks to obtain a grant of
Probate of the last Will and Testament of the said
Catherine Killip ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ late of
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
but now deceased, who died at Ramsey
on or about the 5th day of January 1906
do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or cause to be made
a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects
of the said deceased which have or shall come into her hands,
possession, or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for her
and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the proper
Registry in that behalf whenever required by law so to do: And the same
personal estate and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time come
into the hands or possession of the Executrix, or into the hands of any
other person or persons for her or which without default might have
come into the hands or possession of the Executrix, do well and truly
administer according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of
the said deceased so far as the said personal estate will extend and the law
bind the Executrix then this obligation to be void and of no effect, or
else to remain in full force and virtue.

KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that Philip Lace of near
Willow Grove in the parish of Jurby Farmer and Mary Lace
his wife DO HEREBY own and acknowledge to have received and
been paid by Ann Jane Pass of Tower Road in the town of
Ramsey Widow Sole Executrix of the Last Will and Testament
of Catherine Killip late of Clenagh Road in the parish of
Lezayre Spinster the sum of TEN POUNDS the amount of a . .
certain legacy bequeathed to the said Mary Lace by the said
Catherine Killip in and by her said Last Will and Testament
Probate of which Will was at a Court holden at Ramsey on
the 12th day of February 1906 granted to the said Ann Jane
Pass And the said Philip Lace and Mary Lace DO and each of
them DOTH HEREBY release acquit and discharge the said . .
Executrix and her executors and administrators and the
Estate and effects of the said Catherine Killip from all
claims and demands whatsoever in respect of the said legacy
and the said Will or in anywise soever relating thereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the said Philip Lace and Mary Lace his
wife have hereunto subscribed their names this 9th day of
January One thousand nine hundred and seven.
