In The High Court Of Justice
Will of Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the parish of German.
Know all men by these presents that we: Robert Clucas Kaye of number 34 (thirty four) Demesne
Road Douglas, Builder; William Cowell of Peveril Road in the town of Peel, Mason; and William
Spence of Shanley Road in the said town of Peel, Mason
Are jointly and severally and say two of us jointly bound unto our Sovereign Lord the King in the
sum of: (amount to be fixed by court) One Thousand Seven Hundred Pounds to the payment
whereof well and truly to be made to our said Lord the King, his heirs and successors, we bind and
oblige ourselves jointly and severally and any two of us jointly, our Executors and Administrators,
firmly by these presents.
As Witness our subscriptions the Seventh day of May in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine
Hundred and Seven.
The condition of our obligation is such, that if the above named Robert Clucas Kaye (hereinafter
called "the Executor") who seek to obtain a grant of Probate of the Last Will and Testament of
Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the Parish of German, gentleman, but now deceased, who died at
Ballaquane, aforesaid on or about the 8th day of April 1907 do, when lawfully called on in that
behalf, make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate
and effects of the said deceased which have or shall come into his hands, possession, or knowledge,
or into the hands of any person for him and the same so made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited,
into the proper Registry in that behalf whenever required by law so to do: And the same personal
estate and effects of the said deceased which shall at any time come into the hands or possession of
the Executor, or into the hands of any other person or persons for him or which without default
might have come into the hands or possession of the Executor, do well and truly administer
according to law, that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased so as far as the
said personal estate will extend and the law bind the Executor, then this obligation is to be void and
of no effect, or else remain in full force and virtue.
At Peel the 7th day of May 1907. The Executing parties to the foregoing Bond acknowledged the
same to be their Act and Deed,

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Henry Kaye of Ballaquane in the parish of German.
I leave and bequeath to my brother William Thomas Kaye the sum of Six Hundred Pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my brother Evan Kaye the sum of Twenty Pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my brother Charles Quane Kaye the sum of Four Hundred Pounds.
I leave and bequeath to my brother Robert Clucas Kaye the sum of Six Hundred Pounds.
I leave devise and bequeath to my brother Evan Kaye that piece of land called Shled Eary Kelly,
part of Cronk-moar in the parish of Patrick absolutely.
I leave devise and bequeath to my brother William Thomas Kaye that piece of land called Croit-
veg, part of Cronk-moar in the parish of Patrick absolutely.
I leave devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my real and personal estate unto
my brother Robert Clucas Kaye absolutely And I appoint my said brother Robert Clucas Kaye to
be Executor of this my Will.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name the eighth day of April, One Thousand
Nine Hundred and Seven.
Signed published and declared by the Testator Henry Kaye as and for his Last Will and Testament
in presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of
each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.

Common Land Division Testamentary of Justice at a District Probate Session held at Peel on the
13th May 1907.
The annexed paper writing dated 8th day of April 1907 having been therein to be the Last Will &
Testament of Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the parish of German, gentleman, deceased who
died on this 8th day of April 1907 at Ballaquane aforesaid Robert Clucas Kaye of number 34
Demesne Road in the town of Douglas, Builder and brother of the Testator this Executor therein
named is sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute the same and administer the personal estate of
the said deceased assenting to law.

Know all Men by these presents that Evan kaye of 17 Murray Road in the Borough of Douglas,
Gentleman. Doth hereby own and acknowledge to have received from Robert Clucas Kaye of
number "34" (thirty four) Demesne Road in the said Borough of Douglas, Builder, Executor of the
Last Will and Testament of Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the Parish of German, Gentleman, the
sum of Twenty One Pounds, sixteen shillings and four pence whereof Twenty Pounds is the amount
of a certain Legacy bequeathed to the said Evan Kaye by the said Henry Kaye deceased in and by
this said Last Will and Testament bearing date the Eighth day of April One Thousand Nine Hundred
and Seven and which was duly proved at a District Probate Session Court holden at Peel on the
Thirteenth day of May One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven by the said Robert Clucas Kaye the
Executor therein named and the balance One Pound, Sixteen Shillings and Four Pence is Interest on
the said Legacy from the Eighth day of April One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven per centum
per annum And the said Evan Kaye doth hereby release and acquit the said Robert Clucas Kaye
Executor as aforesaid and his executors and administrators and the estate and effects of the said
Henry Kaye deceased from all actions, claims and demand whatsoever in respect of the said Legacy
of Twenty Pounds bequeathed to him as aforesaid and the Interest thereon or in anywise relating
thereto.
In Witness Whereof I the said Evan Kaye have hereunto subscribed my name this Ninetenth day of
July One Thousand Nine Hundred and Ten (1910)

the Isle of Man, Grocer. Doth hereby own and acknowledge to have received from Robert Clucas
Kaye of number "34" (thirty four) Demesne Road in the Borough of Douglas, Builder, Executor of
the Last Will and Testament of Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the Parish of German, Gentleman,
the sum of Six Hundred Pounds being the amount of a certain Legacy bequeathed to the said
William Thomas Kaye by the said Henry Kaye deceased in and by his said Last Will and Testament
bearing date Eighth day of April One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven and which was duly
proved at a District Probate Session Court holden at Peel on the Thirtenth day of may One
Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven by the said Robert Clucas Kaye the Executor therein named
And the said William Thomas Kaye doth hereby release and acquit the said Robert Clucas Kaye
Executor as aforesaid and his executors and administrators and the estate and effects of the said
Henry Kaye deceased from all actions, claims and demand whatsoever in respect of the said Legacy
of Six Hundred Pounds bequeathed to him as aforesaid ? anywise relating to the said Legacy.
In Witness Whereof I the said William Thomas Kaye have hereunto subscribed my name this

Hawke's Bay (North Island) New Zealand, Builder Doth hereby own and acknowledge to have
received from Robert Clucas Kaye of Number "34" (Thirty Four) Demesne Road in the Borough of
Douglas Builder Executor of the Last Will & Testament of Henry Kaye late of Ballaquane in the
Parish of German, Gentleman the sum of Four Hundred Pounds being the amount of a certain
legacy bequeathed to the said Charles Quane Kaye by the said Henry Kaye deceased in and by his
Last Will & Testament bearing the date the Eighth day of April One Thousand Nine Hundred and
Seven which was duly proved at a District Probate Session Court holden at Peel on the Thirteenth
day of May One Thousand Nine Hundred and Seven by the said Robert Clucas Kaye the Executor
therein named And the said Charles Quane Kaye Doth hereby Releas and Acquit the said Robert
Clucas Kaye Executor as aforesaid and his executors and administrators and the estate and effects
of the said Henry Kaye deceased from all actions claims and demands whatsoever in respect of the
said legacy of Four Hundred Pounds bequeathed to him as aforesaid and the said Will or in anywise
relating thereto In Witness Whereof I the said Charles Quane Kaye have hereunto subscribed my
name this eleventh day of September One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eight (1908).

executing party thereto duly executed the same in presence of Deponent, and of Ralph Hopton
Robertshawe of Napier aforesaid Law Clerk is the other subscribing witness thereto.
