This is the last will and testament of me Edward Quaggin of Thalloovell
St Marks in the parish of Malew I being of sound mind and memory at the
making hereof and revoking all wills by me heretofore made.
After payment of my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses I leave
and bequeath to my brother Herbert Quaggin the whole of my property both
real and personal of which I may die possessed or to which
I may become entitled and I appoint him my said brother Herbert Quaggin
executor hereof.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 18th day of

The humble petition of Herbert Quaggin of Thalloovell in the parish of
Malew.
Sheweth as follows:
Edward Quaggin of Thalloovell aforesaid a brother of your petitioner died
on the 30th day of May 1909 at Thalloovell a bachelor and having made
his last will and testament dated the 18th day of October 1906 whereof
he appointed his petitioner executor.
The only next of kin of the said Edward Quaggin surviving him are his
brothers Evan Quaggin and your petitioner.
Wherefore your petitioner prays a hearing hereof and that probate of the
said will may be granted to your petitioner and he will pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at
Castletown on Monday the 21d day of June 1909 at 11:30 o'clock forenoon
whereof all proper parties and persons are to have due and
lawful notice.

In the goods of Edward Quaggin of Thalloovell in the parish of Malew
Farmer deceased.
Know all men by these presents that we Herbert Quaggin of Thalloovell
in the parish of Malew Farmer, Evan Quaggin of No. 7 Albert Street in the
town of Douglas, baker, and Henry Clucas of Ballaglonney in the parish of
Malew Farmer are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly bound
unto our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of two hundred pounds to the
payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said Lord the king, his
heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally,
and any two of us jointly our executors and administrators, firmly by
these presents.
As witness our subscription the 21st day of June in the year of Our Lord one
thousand nine hundred and nine.
The condition of our obligation is such, that if the above named Herbert
Quaggin hereinafter call the executor who seeks to obtain a grant of Probate
of the last will and testament of Edward Quaggin farmer last of Thalloovell
in the parish of Malew but now deceased, who died on or
about the 30th day of May 1909, at Thalloovell aforesaid do, when
lawfully called on in that behalf, make or cause to be made, a true and
perfect inventory of all and singular the personal estate and effects of the
said deceased, which have or shall come into his hands, possession,
or knowledge, or into the hands of any other person for him, and the same so
made do exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, into the proper Registry in that
behalf whenever required by law so to do: And the same personal estate and
effects of the said deceased, which shall at any time come
into the hands or possession of the executor, or into the hands or
possession of any other person or person for him or which without
default might have come into the hands or possession of the executor, do
well and truly administer according to law, that is to say, do pay the
debts and liabilities of the said deceased so far as the said personal
estate will extend and the law bind the executor, then this obligation to
be void and of no effect or else to remain in full force and virtue.

At a Court holden at Castletown on the 21st day of June 1909.
The annexed paper writing dated 18th day of October 1906 having been proved
to be the last will and testament of Edward Quaggin late of Thalloovell St
Marks in the parish of Malew Farmer deceased who died on the 30th day of May
1909 at Thalloovell aforesaid a bachelor. Herbert Quaggin also of
Thalloovell aforesaid Farmer aforesaid a brother of the testator the
executor therein named is sworn well and truly to fulfil and execute the
same and to administer the personal estate of the said deceased according to
law.
