This is the last will and testament of me, Robert Brew Taubman of Ballacrine
Santan farmer.
I do hereby revoke every former will by me heretofore made.
I give devise and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth Taubman the whole of
my real and personal estate of every kind and description, and wheresoever
the same, or any part thereof may be, at the time of my decease. To have and
to hold the same and every part thereof, as her own absolute property.
And I appoint her my said wife, sole executrix of this my will .
As witness my name thereto, this 21 day of January 1908.

The humble petition of Elizabeth Taubman of Ballacrine in the parish of
Santan widow.
Sheweth:
Robert Brew Taubman late of Ballacrine in the parish of Santon Farmer
and husband of your petitioner departed this life on the 6th day of July
1909 leaving a will dated the 21st day of January 1908 whereof he appointed
your petitioner executrix your petitioner is desirous of
obtaining a grant of Probate of the said will.
Wherefore your petr humbly prays a hearing hereof and that your Honour may
be pleased to grant Probate of the said will to petitioner with such other
and further relief as is meet and petitioner will ever pray.

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be holden at
Douglas on Monday the 9th day of August 1909 at 10:30 O'clock in the
forenoon, whereof all proper parties and person to have due notice

In the goods of Robert Brew Taubman deceased
Know all men by these presents that we Elizabeth Taubman of Ballacrine
in the parish of Braddan widow, Christopher Charles Kissack of 3 Queens
Avenue Douglas Gentleman and James Cretney of Strang in the parish of
Braddan Farm Steward are jointly and severally and any two of us jointly
bound unto our Sovereign Lord the King in the sum of five hundred pounds to
the payment whereof well and truly to be made to our said Lord the King, his
heirs and successors, we bind and oblige ourselves jointly and severally and
any two of us jointly, our Executors and Administrators, firmly by these
presents.
As witness our subscription the seventh day of August in the year of our
Lord one thousand nine hundred and nine.
The condition of our obligation is such that if the above named Elizabeth
Taubman who seeks to obtain a grant of Probate of the last will and
testament of Robert Brew Taubman late of Ballacrine in the parish of Santon
Farmer, but now decease, who died on or about the 6th day of July 1909 at
Ballacrine aforesaid do, when lawfully called on in that behalf, make or
cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the
personal estate and effects of the said deceased, which have or
shall come into her hands, possession, or knowledge, or into the hands of
any other person for her and the same so made do exhibit or cause to be
exhibited, into the proper Registry in that behalf whenever required by
law so to do. And the same personal estate and effects of the said decease,
which shall at any time come into the hands or possession of
the Executor, or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons
for her or which without default might have come into the hands or
possession of the Executrix, do well and truly administer according to law,
that is to say, do pay the debts and liabilities of the said deceased
so far as the personal estate will extend and the law bind the executrix
then this obligation to be void and of no effect. or else to remain in full
force and virtue.
