The humble Petition of Henry
Kissack of Westbourne Road
in the town of Ramsey iron

Sheweth
That your petitioners mother Mary
Creer late of 51 Waterloo Road in the said
town of Ramsey widow died on the 12th
day of March 1909 having first duly
made and executed her last will and
testament bearing date the 16th day of April 1901 with two codicils
bearing date respectively the 16th day of April 1902 and the 30th day of December 1903, whereby she appointed
your petitioner sole executor
That your petitioner is desirous that
probate of the said will and codicils should be granted
to him
Wherefore your petitioner humbly
prays a hearing hereof and that
your Honour may be pleased to
grant probate of the will and codicils of the
said Mary Creer to your petitioner
and he will ever pray
Ordered that this petition do come to be heard at a
court to be holden at Ramsey on Monday the 29th day of
March 1909 at 11 o’clock forenoon. Whereof all proper
parties and persons to have due and lawful notice

THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
of me
Mary Creer of fifty one Waterloo Road in the town of Ramsey widow
I revoke all former Wills and I appoint my son Henry Kissack sole
executor of this my last will. I bequeath all my household furni-
ture china plate linen pictures goods and effects in the dwelling
house in which I now reside unto my son the said Henry Kissack
absolutely. I devise my estate lands and premises containing about
thirty acres of thereabouts with the buildings thereon known as the
Ards and situate in the parish of Maughold and now in the tenancy
of Robert Joughin also my dwelling house and premises numbered
fifty one Waterloo Road Ramsey aforesaid with the garden in the
rear thereof unto the said Henry Kissack absolutely charged never-
theless and chargeable with the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds
to my daughter Catherine Christian the wife of Alfred Edward Chrystal
of the said town of Ramsey auctioneer for her separate use which
said sum is hereby constituted a good lien and charge upon the said
lands and premises and upon the said dwelling house. I devise my
dwelling house and premises situate and being numbered six in north
Shore Road in the said town of Ramsey unto my daughter Ann Jane wife
of Caesar Clarke of Ramsey mariner absolutely for her separate use.
I devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my real
and personal estate of every nature kind and description whatsoever
and wheresoever unto my executor hereinbefore named in trust that
my said executor shall sell and convert into money the same or so
much thereof as shall not consist of money and shall with and out of
the proceeds of such sale and conversion and with and out of so
much of my personal estate as shall consist of money pay my just
debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and shall divide and
distribute the balance then remaining amongst and to my daughters
Helena Mary wife of Thomas Wardle of Bowring Road Ramsey the
said Catherine Christian Chrystal and the said Ann Jane Clarke in equal
proportions share and share alike for the separate use of each of
them. IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto subscribed my
name this sixteenth day of April one thousand nine hundred

last will and testament in the presence
of us present at the same time who at
her request in her sight and presence and
in the presence of each other have here-
unto subscribed our names as witnesses
This is a codicil to my will. In addition
to the charge of one hundred and fifty pounds
on the Estate of the Ards and on the dwelling
house number 51 Waterloo Road I declare
that there shall be a further charge of
(£100) one hundred pounds thereon in
favour of my said daughter Helena Mary
Wardle for her separate use which said sum
of one hundred pounds is
in like manner constituted a good lien
and charge on the said estate of the
Ards and the said dwelling house
number 51 Waterloo Road Ramsey
In all other respects I confirm my said
will. This 16th day of April 1902

This is a codicil to my last will and testament
bearing date the 16th day of April 1902 and
a first codicil thereto bearing equal date
therewith – whereas since the making
of the said will and codicil my daughter
Catherine Christian Chrystal has died
leaving two children namely Edith
Kermeen Chrystal and Lenora Christian
Chrystal her surviving. Now I bequeath
the legacies and sums of money bequeathed
by my said will or thereby directed to be
paid unto the said Catherine Christian
Chrystal unto the said Edith Kermeen
Chrystal and Lenora Christian Chrystal
absolutely in equal shares as tenants
in common upon their attaining the
age of twenty one years. I declare that
if one only of such children shall
attain the age of twenty one years
that the whole of such legacies and
other moneys shall be paid over to
such surviving child. I declare
that if neither of such children
shall attain the age of twenty one
years that then and in such case the
whole of the said legacies and other
moneys shall be paid over to my
son Henry Kissack and my daughters
Helena Mary Wardle and Ann Jane
Clarke in equal shares as tenants
in common. In all other respects I
confirm my said will and codicil
as witness my name the 30th day
of December 1903
