of 10 Woodbourne Square in the borough
of Douglas widow deceased
To His Honour Stewart Stevenson Moore His Majesty’s
First Deemster and Judge of the said Division
The humble Petition of Robert Creer
of 20 Derby Square joiner, Isabella
Creer (a spinster) and Marshall Creer
builder both of 10 Woodbourne Square
Edwin Creer of Ellesmere Terrace
Thorney Road, merchant and Stanley
Creer of 6 Queen’s Terrace
joiner all in the borough of Douglas
Sheweth as follows:-
1.Your petitioners’ mother the above named Margaret
Creer died at Douglas on the twenty-first day of December, 1918
having first duly made and acknowledged her last will and testament
bearing date the twenty-fifth day of October, 1906, and whereof
she appointed her son Thomas Henry Creer sole executor.
2.The said Thomas Henry Creer died on the ninth day of
May 1916 and the said Margaret Creer did not appoint an
executor in his place and stead.
3.It is necessary that representation should be set up
to the personal estate and effects of the said deceadant.
Wherefore your petitioners humbly pray a
hearing hereof and that your Honor may
be pleased to grant letters of
administration of the personal estate
and effects of the said William Creer
deceased to your petitioners with such
other and further relief as is meet and
your petitioners will ever pray

Ordered that this petition do come on to be heard at a court to be
holden at Douglas on Monday the 22nd day of
October 1917 at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon whereof
all proper parties and person to have due notice.
