Will Transcriptions

Purpose

The following pages are provided in the hope that researchers will make available to others their efforts in the transcription of wills. This service will only succeed with YOUR contributions.

An index of currently available transcriptions is maintained.

Submission

Authors of transcriptions will be acknowledged, unless anonymity is requested.

Whenever possible, please indicate the source of the will. The LDS film number is generally the most useful.

Transcriptions may be submitted for inclusion in this project by e-mail directly to myself at brian@lawsons.ca

All transcripts should be in plain ASCII (no formatting codes). Please maintain original pagination especially if there are doubtful areas in the transcription. This makes subsequent editing much easier.

Please note that I do not have the time to perform major editing or typing of submissions.
