The Maple Ridge Branch of the Royal Canadian
Legion was established by Charter in 1927. It has grown to be one of the
largest, most successful branches in Canada with membership in excess of
2600 and, with six buildings, assets of over $40 million dollars.
The Lounge, with seating of 225, was renovated in 2003
and fills all the needs of our members. Snooker, darts and cribbage are
enjoyed by everyone.
The huge dance floor under the massive
skylight is the centrepoint of all activities and is the hub for Karaoke
every Thursday night and live bands on weekends.
Smokers are comfortably seated in one
of our sports lounges with an engineered, state-of-the-art air extraction
unit.
For the summer days, our covered and
heated patio provides a fresh, relaxing location.
The Fireside Lounge is a peaceful haven
and provides a quiet area for conversation with friends. Books and magazines
are plentiful.
Archive Alley houses all of the
memorabilia from many veterans who have donated interesting items from their
years of serving their country.
Delicious food is available from our
kitchen and daily specials are always a popular choice, like Fish and Chips
every Friday.
Keno, RaceTrax, Chaser and Breakopens
are all available.
Meat Draws are held
Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays.
