After nearly three months of searching Coastal Geoscience has found a de Havilland Beaver
airplane that went down near Quadra Island B.C.  All five aboard the airplane were lost.

CGRC obtained images of the plane off Rebecca Spit, Quadra Island in an area not previously searched.
Imagenex Yellowfin SideScan sonar was used in 250 meters of water.
The wreckage was subsequently positively identified by ROV.
