July 5th Percentage Day Results
I apologize for taking so long to get these results posted - the warm weather has brought about an abundance of gardening chores plus house guests and the days just seem to fly by.
I would like to thank Carey Davies for organizing a very smooth show day - any goof ups were entirely my fault as I did scratch the wrong rider and fill her spot with another person so we were slightly off schedule for a bit there. Thank you Amanda Wilson for scribing - you did such a good job for your trial run that you will definitely be asked again. Speaking of being asked again, we are once more indebted to Heather Warren who scribed in the afternoon. It's a privilege to work with such supporters of this club.There was a very cheerful atmosphere at the show enhanced by encouraging comments and generous marks from our judge, Joseph Pauze who gave everyone a first place mark. We have ordered a new set of rosettes to see us through the rest of the show season!Winners of the High Percent of Show in their respective divisions were:Junior - Amy Lafontaine and Sarina Belle - 71.30% - Training Level Test 1Senior - Sabrina Nobbs and Kalista K - 73.00% - First Level Test 1Open - Carey Davies and Razzmatazz - 72.40% - Training Level Test 3Entries for the August 16th Bronze Level competition which will be held at the Saanich Fairground opened today. Stalls will be available for this show as it will be run in a class format and there may be a wait between your tests. Higher Level classes will be held in the morning; Walk/Trot through First Level will follow in order to give all our members a share of morning and afternoon rides.Good luck to all LIEC members who are competing at the Capital City Classic this weekend!DianneJuly 5 Percentage Day Results are posted on the Show Ring page

The venue for remaining 2008 LIEC shows has been changed to the Saanich Fairground. In order to do this we have also had to slightly alter the show dates. Here is the new schedule:
Saturday July 5th - Percentage Day - Joseph PauzeSaturday August 16th - Bronze Show - Judge TBASunday September 21 - Percentage Day - Sue RutherfordPlease note that the fee structure will remain the same - $20 for the first test and $16 for the second test.Amended Bronze Level Entry Form and Percentage Day Entry Form now available.

SHOWS
We will have 6 shows this year - 7 competition days in total. With the exception of the June show which will be held at the Saanich Fairground, all of the shows will be held at EBLES. Here is the outline of the show dates for your calendar:
- Sunday April 13th - Percentage Day
- Saturday May 10th - Bronze Level Show
- Saturday June 7th/Sunday June 8 - Schooling Show
- Saturday July 5th - Percentage Day
- Saturday August 16th - Bronze Level Show
- Sunday September 21st - Percentage Day
