Ephesians
XI Ephesians 2:1-22 The last 12 verses of chapter 2 should be printed on a T-shirt and at the entrance of every church door, and then posted all over the inside of every church wall. Here's how I would write it: "No one is without Christ. There aren't anymore aliens, nor strangers. We are all part of the covenants of promise. Jesus is everyone's hope. No one is without God in this world. No one is far off. The whole world has been made near to God through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. God is at peace with the whole world." "God brought the whole world near to Him by the blood of Christ, and now there is peace between God and man. God is no longer angry with anyone. We are all under a covenant of peace. The law of Moses that had brought division has now been abolished in the body of Christ. That means that the sins of the whole world have been crucified in Christ and God is no longer dealing with man according to their sins. God now deals with us according to Christ's righteousness. There's no middle wall nor partition between God and man. The law was nailed in the body of Jesus." "The law has been abolished along with the prophets, the prayers of the psalms, and the self-righteous works of men. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, sinner or saint, male or female. The whole world of the Ishmael's and the Isaac's are in Christ. There's no longer war between God and man since the law was abolished in the body of Christ. There aren't 2 families, or 2 groups of people anymore. There is only one family in Christ. In Christ the whole world stands before God as a new man, a new covenant. The old has been nailed to the cross." "As far as the East is from the West, the sins of the world God remembers no more. Jesus nailed the 10 commandments to the cross, and buried the law of sin and death, and the whole world was raised with Him in righteousness. All of the sacrificial laws, and its ordinances are dead in Christ. Out of 2 God made 1 thus leading us to peace between God and man. God reconciled the whole world in Christ. There is no such thing anymore as some being near to God and others far off. All nations, all men and all nationalities and religions have been made near by the blood." "In God's eyes there are no colors, no sin, no evil, no one better than another. There is only one family. Whether religion believes it, accepts it, preaches it, teaches it or not. The fact is that the whole world was reconciled in Christ. The good, the bad, the ugly and what have you are all in Christ. God is no repecter of persons. If He did it for one, He did it for all. All had to be found guilty of sin and unbelief in order for God to justify all before the throne of grace. All were reconciled in one body. The body of Christ. It was the cross of Jesus that slained sin and the middle wall of partition that stood between God and man." "God came to preach peace, not war, to everyone who were afar and near. There is no such thing as a Jew or Gentile anymore. In Christ God has made the whole world one. Now through Christ the whole world has access by one Spirit unto the Father. It is not about two covenants anymore. It is about one covenant. The covenant of grace and peace in Christ Jesus. There is no longer a covenant of sin, but of righteousness in Christ. The old covenant is dead. We are now the covenant of life in Christ. This was all made possible through Christ and not through man." "In God eyes there are no more strangers or foreigners. In God's eyes, because of grace, the whole world stands redeemed, complete, saved, sanctified, justified, in holiness, without spot, wrinkle or blemish. It was all the work of God, and He made it all possible through Christ. We are all fellow citizens in Christ and because of Christ and through Christ and for Christ. We are all part of the household of God because of Christ. It has nothing to do with our believing, our performance or the lack thereof. Sin cannot separate anyone from God anymore because Jesus dealt with the entire sin issue at the cross. The sin of unbelief." "Jesus is now the chief cornerstone. Every Indian tribe knows who the "Chief Cornerstone" is. That's how I introduce Christ to my Mexican Indian friends. Jesus is also known as "Chief Cornerstone." He is not a "Chef Cookingstone." God is no longer in the business of burning anyone in hell. The world's foundation is now heaven. "In whom ALL the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord; in whom you are also (gentiles) builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. (Holy Spirit)," verse 22. Friends, these passages found here in the second chapter of Ephesians will give you a lifetime of peace and it will change your life because you will no longer see the world through the eyes of religion... "good gets good and bad gets beat." All of our bias attitudes will begin to fall by the wayside the moment we begin to understand that in Christ there aren't two families. There is now just one family in Christ. Not only will your heart be established in grace, but it will also be consumed with unconditional love. If this chapter doesn't cover it all and makes it all very clear, then I don't know what will." Grace N Peace Eddie Narvaez |
