Ephesians
XIV Ephesians 3:1-21 Now, the legalistic church will take verse 10 and preach it immediately in light of some spiritual demonic battle between the church and Satan. The legalistic pulpit forgets what the topic of Ephesians is really all about the moment they reach verse 10. It is at this point that sensationalism sets in. Nevermind the fact that verse 10 is a continuation of verses 8 and 9. Verse 10 to the Evangelical pulpit is a declaration of war. Friends, the "principalities and powers" mentioned in verse 10 is making reference to the men of religious power of authority. They too, like ALL men needed to know what the manifold wisdom of God was. That wisdom being, that they ALL (Jews and Gentiles) had now become One family in Christ Jesus. It was all according to the eternal purpose which God purposed in Christ Jesus as it says in verse 11. If we keep it all in context we won't turn it into nonsense and the heart will remain established in grace and peace. Verse 10 has nothing to do with what we have been taught all of these years concerning a war between man and satan, devils or demons, good angels or bad angels. Our boldness and confidence is not about fighting against some spiritual force that Jesus has already defeated at the cross. Our boldness and confidence is that we have access by "the faith of Him (Jesus)," not our faith, in that it was God's eternal purposed purposed in Christ Jesus that He would reconciled us ALL as One family. This is why Paul says in verse 14 that he bows his knees unto God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; "Of whom the whole FAMILY in heaven and earth is named." Did it say the "TWO" families? No! It said the "WHOLE" family. Jew and Gentile, slave and free, female and male. Unfortunately, the Evangelical doctrines have "tossed us to and fro, and have led the human race to be carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the slight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive" as Paul says in chapter 4 and verse 14. Friends, this great reconciliation, salvation, redemption, predestination, and eternal purpose purposed in Christ Jesus was for ALL men to see that God had brought into fellowship both familles into One. The entire family in heaven and earth was named after Christ because they are ALL in Christ. Through Christ Jesus and in Christ Jesus the whole world has been granted, according to His riches in glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. These are the things that we need to be bold and confident about. That in Christ Jesus there is now a "whole" family. These are the things that will cause us to understand that Christ does dwell in everyone's heart. That it is not a family of two. The deadly doctrines of Evangelical Christianity are the ones who continue to see it all as Two families instead of One because they have perverted the Gospel of the Grace and Peace of God into a gospel of war and wrath. Leading still many to believe that there is war between man and God, satan and man. It is a lie! Such doctrines will never allow a person to be rooted and grounded in love. It will lead people to be rooted and grounded in hate. I know, I was part of this deadly system of witchcraft, and I thank God that my eyes have been opened to see the truth of the Gospel and my life is constantly being rooted and grounded in love and in truth thanks to Jesus. As long as organized religion continues to divide us all into two families they will never be able to comprehend what is the breadth, length, depth and height of the love of Christ. Romans 8:38-39. They will never know the love of Christ in an unconditional way. Their knowledge of the finished and perfect work of the cross will always be one of good gets good and bad gets beat. Organized religion will never come to know the fullness of God. How He has made One family out of Two in Christ, and their sins He remembers no more. All of us are new species in Christ Jesus. All of us are part of the "whole" family of God. The religious, and bias self-righteous mind and heart, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of false doctrine will never see the work of the cross as being for ALL, but what really matters is what God thinks and has done, and not what man thinks and has never been able to do. Only Christ is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to HIS power that worketh in us. Friends, it is not our superficial, phony, think we are spiritual power that worketh in us. It is Christ's power that worketh in ALL of us. It is His glory, His power and throughout ALL ages in this world without end that brought us ALL into One family. For those who are still looking for a rapture and a second judgment, read it again what verse 21 says: "World Without End". Amen! This ought to destroy the foolish notion of some future judgment coming out the teachings of John the Revelator. Thank God that John saw these things on the "Day of The Lord." Meaning that he saw them on the day Jesus was crucified on the cross. Had Jesus not died on the "Day of The Lord," there would still be Two families instead of One. Grace N Peace Eddie Narvaez |
