Romans
VI Romans 2:1-29 Now, if we fail to read verse 12 of Romans chapter 2, we will take out of context and make a religious mess of verses 6 through 11 of Romans chapter 2. I have had so called cemetery graduated preachers say: "It says right there in Romans chapter 2 and verse 6 that God will render to every man according to his deeds." "This proves that we will be judged by our good and bad works, and unbelievers will no doubt be judged to hell because all they ever do are bad deeds." Friends, it is clearly obvious that these verses applied as long as the law of Moses was alive. Had Jesus not died on the cross God would still be in the business of rendering to every man according to their works. That would mean that hell's entrance would have much bigger doors than heaven's since there has never been a person that has ever kept to perfection the entire law of Moses. That would mean tribulation and anguish for all of humanity, forever and ever. To the Jew first and to the Gentile. No escape. No excuse. Under the law, and even without the law, both Jews and Gentiles were found guilty. No exceptions. One would either perish with or without the law since under the law there is no respect of persons with God. It didn't matter as to whether or not they had heard the law or not. It required the doers of the law in order for anyone to be justified before God. And we all know that there hasn't been, there will never be and there is no one who is presently living, keeping to all the demands and requirements of the law. Every single human being has been disqualified in the eyes of God under the law. That's' the reason why Paul quoted Isiah: "There's none righteous, no not one." Rom. 3:10-20. All that has ever been found under the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans chapter 7. Friends, I just covered verses 6 through 13 of Romans chapter 2. The answer to the out of context preaching and heresy confusion that Evangelical Christianity has been deceiving us for centuries out of these verses found here in Romans chapter 2 have now been made clear. Lets also keep in mind that verses 13 through 15 are in parenthesis. This means that they were inserted there by the King James writers. Not that it really matters. Jesus already judged the secrets of men when He nailed the law of sin and death to the cross. This is the goodnews of the Gospel of Grace and Peace. When Paul talks about "In the day" according to verse 16, he was making reference to the day of the cross and not some future day as we have been erroneously taught by the religions of this world. God has already judged the secrets of all men. Paul was addressing the Jews that were sitting in judgment against those who they believed were doing wrong. But then Paul told them about their own little sinful closet secrets, and how they were just as bad as anyone else's. Notice that verse 17 is being addressed to "Behold, thou art called a Jew." Now notice that the verse continues to say that they were resting (trusting) in the law and bragging about God, but yet knowing His will, and approving the things that are more excellent, learning it from the law, they were being leaders of the blind and both falling into the same ditch. Jew's pointing out other people's faults, and carrying a flashlight without batteries. Paul doesn't let up and calls them all on the carper from verse17 all the way through verse 29. Paul puts the ax to the root of the tree and exposes all of their hypocrisy. The same can be said of today's religions and Evangelical doctrines. If there were ever any verses that applied to the hypocrisy that is taking place in Evangelical Ministry Circles, these would have to be them. The blind leading the blind. The fool leading the fool. The babe leading the babe. Having a form of knowledge and not teaching themselves about what the law perfectly requires, and demands. Judging others for their wrong doings and not looking at the two by four log in their own eyes. Telling people not to commit adultery, and yet committing adultery themselves by serving both the law of Moses and the grace of Christ. Romans chapter 7. Boasting about how people need to keep to the law of Moses, and yet they (Evangelical Christianity) breaking the law themselves. Hypocrites! Blasphemer's! Law breakers! Circumcised idiots! Fault finders! Fruit Inspectors! Transgressors! Outward Appearance Punks! Hey, I know I get a bit carried away. But there is no bigger turn off than hearing a preacher spouting condemnation from the pulpit, and pointing out other people's sins, when their own underwear doesn't produce perfume. You want to be a Jew or a holier than thou person, then realize that circumcision is an inward conviction of the heart produced by grace and not by laws. It is of the heart not of the letter (law). It is of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, not of the heart of stone (the law). It is not of the praise of men but of God. Friends, I just pretty much covered verses 19 through 29 and it is clearly obvious that what we have been taught by organized religion and their pulpits from these verses, and first 2 chapters of Romans have been nothing more than pure religious heresy.
