Think about all the charismatic radio preachers, teachers, pastors
and televangelist's that are very well known, and tell me what their
common faith preaching consist of. They all pretty much have on thing
in common...money, money, money...money! And I am more than certain
that you all know pretty much how they all make their money. They all
make their money by pumping people up with pseudo messages of faith,
that if mixed with works, it will lead to a life of financial freedom
and prosperity.
So their message pretty much goes like this...give to God and He will
heal you, hear your prayers, meet your needs, save you loved one's,
protect you against evil and prosper you in every area of your life.
All you need to do is release, increase and believe that God will give
you the faith, as you act upon and obey His word, and all of the things
your heart desires will come to pass. In other words, it is your Faith,
plus your works, that produces financial freedom. However, as you believe
God and obey His word and believe that you will receive from Him, don't
forget the 10% God expects you to bless our ministry with.
Friends, somewhere in the mass confusion of their so called Faith +
Works = Dollars message these preaching religious charlatan's throw
in a little da-ba-do-ya of love, grace, forgiveness and what have you
so that people won't think that is all about money. These Joyce Meyer's,
Copeland's, Creflo's, Hinn's, Hagee's, Parsley's, Tilton's, Myles Monroe
and the rest of the their common faith pulpiteer's know how to work
and deceivingly convince a crowd. If they were to tell people to invest
the gold out of their teeth and give it to God so that God would bless
them above and beyond their giving, I believe that many people would
be flooding the dentist office.
Friends, none of these well known charismatic ministry's and others
not so charismatic preach or teach the Gospel. Their gospel is about
they getting and you giving. Then they are so clever in their common
fake that if you should come up to them or write to them that you did
just as they suggested but did not receive from God, it must be because
you didn't confess it right, there's sin in your life, or haven't been
doing a whole lot of praying, fasting, reading the bible and what have
you. They always put the failure on you. It is never their message nor
their faith, nor their stupidity. It is always placed on the recipient.
You are the one lacking faith. You are the one hindering God's promises
because of your doubt, because of your fear, because of your sins, because
of your lack of obedience, because of your lack of proper confession,
because of this, that and the other. Maybe if you read your bible more,
spend more time in prayer, fasting and examining your heart to make
sure that there aren't any secret generational curses keeping you from
receiving the blessing from God, then maybe God will show you His will
for your life, deliver you from demonic oppression and heal you.
Friends, these charismatic ministers and ministry's are all about Faith+
Works= Dollars. Not only do they continue to deceive people into giving
their hard earned money by forcing people to give according to the old
testament tithe system, but they also make their additional dollars
by offering fancy cover binder 4, 6 and 12 tape series on any subject
that sounds biblical and promises healing, prosperity, deliverance,
the how to, the when to, the why to, the not to, and what have you.
If people would do an inventory of all that they have bought from these
charlatan's and of all the money they have given to these ministries
throughout the years, it will add up to a good buck.
But being that people are desperate for the supernatural, the spiritual
and what have you, and are looking for a quick fix to what troubles
them, they keep believing the religious trash, that it is their ever
increasing Faith+Works that will = to Dollars. I have a friend who for
over 30 years has been attending and supporting one of the largest ministry's
in Denver, and this guy has a library of tapes, books, magazines and
videos larger than the Library of Congress. The great majority of the
books and tapes are about how to live like a King On Earth and show
that you are a rich kid of the king of heaven.
However, this man's attitude, disposition and character as a professing
Christians is about the most arrogant, bias, condemning, boastful and
proud that one will ever see. All he ever talks about is brother so
and so of such and such ministry of faith, and how through their teaching
he has been able to accumulate wealth, health, and has learned how to
tap into God's resources by using his faith, doing the works, and being
obedient to the word. Yet his Christian Faith+Works= Dollar attitude
treats others who don't believe like him, confess like him, and church
like him, like worthless and useless people.
I believe that the teachings of Faith+Works=Dollars creates bias, egotistical,
arrogant, cold and highly proud and disturbed in mind people. The funny
thing about this man I am speaking of, who happens to be one of the
top notch supervisors where I work, is always worry about finances,
always involved in selling other products on the side, always suffering
with some physical illness, takes 3 different bottles of medication
for his many conditions, and struggles to make car and house payments.
But then he goes around putting down others when he hears them confess
the wrong things and complain about a headache or how they are having
a hard time with money.
Talk about a phony! I have several times, as gently as I can, said
to him: "Wow, I see that you are walking with a slight limp, see
that you have a runny nose and I notice the medications on your desk.
And here's the response of denial that I get from him: "Yeah, but
I am not confessing it". I have even gotten under his religious
self-righteous skin by saying: "Hey man, you look like you are
gaining weight. What do you weight now? The last time I talked to you,
you told me you were close to 300 pounds. Isn't that a bit too much
weight to be carrying for a 5 foot 10 inch person? I also notice that
your eye glasses have gotten a little thicker."
His answer to me is this: "My ship is on the way in and I am believing
God for 20/20 vision and 100 pound trim down." Then I just walk
off and think to myself: "Maybe if you give up the twinkies."
"God better hurry up because you might lose sight of where your
ship is headed and it may sink before you get to where you want to go".
:) Friends, the most popular gospel that continues to be preached amongst
these radio, television well known charismatic charlatan's is not the
Gospel of The Grace, Peace and Finished Work of the Cross. It is the
continuing money making deceiving gospel of Faith=Works+ Dollars.
Grace N Peace
