"Come on now...you don't really believe what that Puerto Rican
is preaching and teaching, do you?" "You very well know that
God expects everyone to believe, be born again and keep to His laws
in order for anyone to make into heaven." "You better be careful
with that 'only by grace' you are saved stuff." "Without accountability,
responsibility and good works people will end up in hell." "God
did His part, now you must do your part." "Don't be fooled
by these grace teachers." "They are only out to lead you into
more sin, and if you keep listening to them you will fall from grace
and be out of God's will."
These last few weeks have been an all out "Get Eddie" attack.
The religious attacking serpents have come out from everywhere, and
have gathered themselves under the tree of good and evil. Many who have
read my articles for some time now, and who's hearts and minds have
been rejoicing because of the true freedom they have been slowly finding
in the Gospel of God's Grace, are now beginning to question and doubt
the saving grace of God apart from the works of the law. As my articles
fall into the hands of ministry's and ministers, they have noticed that
I am not a passing drifting wind that would blow away with the passing
of time, so they are now taking me serious and have decided to counter
attack my grace teachings.
I guess I am finally getting their attention and they are realizing
that I am here for the duration. What they once thought to be just another
temporary preacher with a shallow understanding of the Gospel and an
off the wall message that would eventually go away, is now being taken
seriously. Since the reading of my articles have been passed from one
person to another, I believe that many Pastors are concerned that many
of their members might be believing what I am teaching, so the religious
serpent in them is now swiftly whispering and speaking doubt into the
minds of these dear people by telling them that grace alone is not enough
for salvation.
Well, if anything, at least I am getting their attention and they know
that I am for real. It may have taken some time, but the Gospel of the
Grace and Peace of God is making an impact and slowly but surely they
are finding out that those of us who preach grace apart from salvation
by works are a force to be contend with. We are not going away regardless
of what the religious serpent's might do or say. We are here to stay,
and do all we can by the grace of God to step on the serpents head,
and help the people who have been kept in bondage for many years to
come out from under the power of the lies of the religious serpent of
this world we live in.
Yes, there is a serpent out there. It may not be the same serpent that
Jesus destroyed at the cross, but the spirit of the self-righteous serpent
is still whispering lies about how salvation requires much more than
just grace. It's been an exiting few weeks both over the Internet and
with people in the work place and from other local street areas. I have
even been described as a serpent of deception myself, and that I am
just as crafty as the serpent in the Garden of Eden when it deceived
Eve with enticing words of "Oh come on...God won't mind if you
sin because He knows Himself that you are saved by grace."
Friends, for those of you who are familiar and have read my articles,
you all know that I encourage people to do what is right, and to do
their best to live a moral life. However, since we all know that the
"Young Rich Ruler's" moral behavior, good works and the keeping
of the law of Moses wasn't good enough, nor deserving enough to merit
eternal life, it should be obvious to everyone in this world that that
what they are all saved by is none other than by the grace and faith
of Jesus Christ and not by anyone's self-
righteous performance. The religious serpents of this world will always
stick their tongue out and prepared to strike whenever they hear the
truth.
Unfortunately, some people get a hold of the Gospel of Grace simple
message, and just when they begin to see a breakthrough in their lives,
along comes a religious, crafty, deceiving religious serpent and tries
to steal their almost established heart of grace from them by telling
them that it is what Christ did, plus what they do that keeps them in
right standing with God. Oh yes!...you can bet your religious stinky
socks that there's a serpent still whispering, lying and deceiving people
out there with religious manipulative doctrines of demons. But I am
here to tell all of these religious serpents that their holes are being
uncovered and exposed by the true Gospel of God's Grace.
To me personally, these attacks are nothing more than an indication
that the Gospel of God's Grace is being seeded and taking root regardless
of how much doubt, fear and guilt the religious serpents of this world
try to spread their venom. This is more of a reason why everyone who
gets my articles should help me spread this wonderful goodnews by forwarding
the articles to as many people, ministry's, and churches as much as
possible. We are all part of a great revolution of truth, and the religious
serpents are drying out in the desert and dying for lack of living water,
the which can only be found in the Gospel of Grace to quench all thirst.
Praise God! God's Grace speaks louder than religious serpents.
