Update April 2009:

It has been 2 years since the last update to this Web Site.

There are some substantial additions to this BROCKMAN line as our branch has been finally traced back to the Beachborough estate at Newington, Kent, England. We have to thank Patrick Brockman and his group of researchers in England for their tenacity for not giving up on what seemed to be a lost project. I know as I tried to do the same thing a couple years ago but could not make a connection to the estate and it was not for the lack of trying. This new research has also given us a new family name "DE POWERS" to think about. The last I heard from Patrick was that he was looking for a connection of the BROCKMAN name to a French family name of "DE BROC".

My research into the PASKAL name has come to definite stop now. I have photographed all the available documents available from the Ukrainian archives courtesy of the Mormon Church in Salt Lake City in USA. I sent copies of the photographs back to the Ukraine to my researcher Ihor Kohut to have them translated to English so I could read them. This process took a little over 1 year to complete. As the records only go back to 1840 we did not get any new information from them which made the Archive pictures a large waste of time and money.

I presume as the saying goes; the writing on the wall says that beating your head against a brick only causes pain. This means that unless someone miraculously finds the missing records the PASKAL research is as complete as it will ever be.
