We modify older points-type distributors to breakerless
electronic ignition system. We use a Canadian made module and a magnetic trigger
in the distributor. With our system installed you can increase the spark
plug gap 10 to 20% in order to improve combustion. 1) No more points to wear out or adjust; no more condenser to change. 2) The module will maintain the optimum dwell to give you better spark at idle or high RPM. 4) Because there is no dwell or timing change due to lobe wear, points wear, points float, distributor shaft wobble due to wear, etc, you will get more accurate spark timing. |
