Welcome to the Lynn Valley United Church website. We are a congregation of the United Church of Canada seeking to embody Christ’s love and serve God’s people in Lynn Valley and the District of North Vancouver. We believe in a loving God who is active in the world through the power of the Holy Spirit, who is with us and works through us, and is beyond our understanding.

We believe in the importance of Christ’s teachings and of putting them into actions, in a just and caring manner.

We believe God calls our congregation to:

• help and share with those in need

• be welcoming, friendly and compassionate

• be inclusive regardless of race, sexuality, age and denomination

• seek to understand God’s will

We believe God invites us to nurture our spirits and to worship individually and in community through prayer, music, Bible reading and study, meditation and sharing the sacraments.
