The Church Board

The operation of Lynn Valley United Church is under the direction of an Official Board comprised of seven members under a chairperson. All are elected at an Annual or Special Meeting of the Congregation.

The Board is assisted in carrying out its duties by Task Groups which are responsible for the various activities in the life of the Church. They welcome and need participation and assistance of members of the Congregation. Task Groups include:

• Children's Worship

• Communications

• Community/Social Projects

• Congregational Events

• Fundraising

• Library

• Long Term Planning

• Ministry & Personnel

• Mission groups

• Music

• Pastoral Care

• Presbytery

• Property Management

• Social Justice

• Worship

These groups are overseen by our Board Chair. Board meetings take place at 7:15 pm on the second Wednesday of the month.
