Worship Service: Sundays at 10:30 a.m. Family services are held at Easter, Christmas and other special times during the year. There are also special services on Good Friday and Christmas Eve, and a Hard-to-be-Merry Christmas service on a Sunday afternoon in December.

Children are a vital part of the Lynn Valley Congregation. Care is provided for infants and children under three during the Worship Service. Please ask for directions to the Crèche. Parents are welcome to accompany their children to the Crèche or to the Children's Worship until the children feel comfortable in their new environment.

Communion: Communion Services are held the first Sunday of each month. Everyone is welcome, including children.

Children's Worship - for children over three

Every Sunday the children gather with the whole congregation and we begin our worship together. Following the Time with the Children, the children leave the sanctuary and go to their own worshipping space. They have 30 to 40 minutes to worship in a way that more fully meets their needs. A story from the Bible is told and the children have an opportunity to reflect on this story experientially, either through art, drama or other activities. Parents are welcome to come and help children transition into this new experience.

Several times throughout the year we have intergenerational services where the children remain in the sanctuary and participate in leading the service. On Communion Sundays, the children stay or return to the sanctuary to share in the celebration of communion.

Newcomers:
Welcome to Lynn Valley United! Please sign the Guest Book in the narthex and introduce yourselves to our minister. Do join us for coffee so that members of the congregation can have the opportunity to meet you too.

Coffee Time: Coffee, tea and juice are served after the service each Sunday. Join us for this time of fellowship and conversation. It is a good time to meet people and get acquainted.

Accessibility: We provide hearing assist devices for those who wish to hear the service better. The sanctuary and our washrooms at Lynn Valley United are Wheelchair Accessible.
