LW Professional Consultants Ltd. works on a contingency basis. A recruiting service fee will only be charged to a Corporation if a candidate we have referred is hired or contracted to the corporation. For permanent placement a guarantee can be negotiated. LW will match other recruiting companies best rates.
For Project Out-Sourcing, we can negotiate whether the inviocing will be on an individual hourly rate or team project rate.
For Canadian Jobs: After receiving your resume
we will search for a suitable match for you. When a match occurs we will
send 3 LW reference check forms to you to be
completed. At this point only candidates who have returned the 3 completed
and signed forms will be considered as legitimate
applicants for the particular matched position. Time at this point is usually
of
an essence and the reference forms would be expected
to be completed and emailed or faxed back within one working day.
Please note that candidate's references and academic
degrees are thoroughly checked by an LW Ltd. interviewer before they
can be considered for presentation to client
corporations. Candidate's references must have been in a supervisory position.
Peers (fellow workers) or family members are
not suitable as employment references for our purposes.
Entry Level:
Please only send resumes if a position is specifically
asking for entry level candidates. Entry level are candidates
with no formal work experience or supervisory
references.
We can understand your frustration with this
dilemma. How can I get supervisory references until I get a job? LW does
not
want to waste your valuable time and energy with
resumes which we cannot use. Please check with other services such as,
University and Colleges or classifieds. Corporations
will sometimes contact these institutions directly. Also check section
27 of
the Classifieds in the Vancouver Sun on Saturdays
for some advertised entry level positions. Sometimes entry level positions
will be advertised in the Professional Classifieds on Wednesday and Friday.
