"CHRISSY"
Chrissy was a compact 13 1/2" bi-factored, white-factored blue merle sweetheart. Showing great promise as a puppy, we held our breath as she crept toward 13". Turning six months of age the first day of our local AVKC All Breed Shows, we entered her hoping she'd make it and she did! Measuring her at the show secretaries desk, she measured in, just barely, and went on to pick up her first points. As this was our last show of the season, Chrissy wasn't shown again until the following spring, but by then she had dumped her yearling coat and was naked. And of course, this was just days before the National and Specialty shows in Vancouver, but we went anyway. Chrissy remained in the ribbons, taking 4th and 2nd in her yearling class at the National and Specialty respectively, and this in her underwear! We didn't show her again until she coated up, then she finished in three days of shows, taking BW and BOS two days out of the three, and WB and BOS the third day to finish. Chrissy lived up to her promise as well as proved herself in the whelping box. she is the dam of Ch. Marpointe's Easy Money,and Ch. Marpointe's Ice Is Nice, as well as pointed offspring.
