At 14" he was a compact bundle of energy and outgoing temperament. Bi-factored, non-white factored, he produced clean heads, excellent ear set and placement, elegant outlines and strong angulation. He was the sire of "BPIS Ch. Ridgelynn Serendipity Shelgrande", "Ch. Marpointe's Blueberry Frost, CD, AN, ADC", "Ch. Marpointe's Ice Crystal", "Ch. Marpointe Keesrich Sea And Sky (Am.pt'd)","BPIG Marpointe's Kiss Me Kate (pt'd)"and "Ridgelynn Mercedes O'Glenshira (pt'd)". The bloodlines were there to produce winning stock with sound minds and sound bodies. As we did not offer Scooter for public stud, his contribution to the gene pool was not realized to it's fullest, but what he produced for us here at Marpointe showed that this little dog had the potential to produce well.
Scooter was the greatest little dog to show, light on his feet and eager to please, although I didn't special him much at all because of time and money constraints, he loved the limelight and would do ANYTHING for a cookie. For the past few years he has been a "couch potato" but was the best advertisement for the Sheltie's loving temperament and outgoing ways. Everyone who met him absolutely loved this sweet boy. He will be sadly missed.
