Maxceleration Racing
"When a man spends endless hours of
hard work to create and tune a machine for a purpose other than transportation,
that machine then becomes an extension of his arms, legs and character. He then
uses the machine for the sole purpose of competition against other individuals
that have the same desire and love for the sport. Even after many failed
attempts and few victories this individual retains the love and desire for this
competition that he had the very first day he started. This is a sport where
bragging rights are more important than cash or trophies, and after the fierce
competition ends, friendships that last a lifetime prevail. This is my
passion... This is Drag Racing."

Why drag racing? In my
opinion it is the purest form of motorsport. My reasoning … stay
with me here for a minute. All types of
racing involve acceleration in one way shape or form. Without acceleration, you have a machine just sitting there
going nowhere. It can be considered then
that there cannot be racing without a change in speed (acceleration). If you must have acceleration to have racing,
then a contest in acceleration is the purest form of racing. Drag racing is the ultimate test of
acceleration and therefore in my opinion is the purest form of motorsport. Like the
100m sprint is to track and field and the Olympics, drag racing is to motorsports.
The name Maxceleration
came from the combination of the two words, Maximum and Acceleration. It represents what I like best about the
sport.

WHY THIS PAGE? - I am totally hooked on snowmobile drag
racing. Have been for
many years. Having grown up in
the area around Flin Flon, Manitoba, snowmobiling was in my blood at a very
early age. Later in life, I actually
rode my sled to work on a daily basis (Flin Flon is a very unique place in Northern Manitoba where riding to work is possible). This page is a format for friends and family
to keep track of what we’ve been up to as well as a way of thanking our
sponsors for making our racing excursions a little easier.
