NOTES:

SOCIAL BALLROOM DANCE: Dances to be covered include Rhumba, Cha Cha, Jive, Foxtrot, Tango and Waltz. Foxtrot and Tango are American style, which is best suited to social dancing for fun, on small and/or crowded dance floors.

WEDDING DANCE/FORMAL PREPARATION: This course covers waltz, foxtrot and rhumba - the three most popular dances for the bride and groom as their first dance together. This class is also excellent for beginners wanting to prepare for any special event involving dancing, such as a cruise.

EASTCOAST & WESTCOAST SWING: Eastcoast Swing is the easiest form of swing dancing to learn, and is based upon the couples rotating around each other, and can be danced to a variety of tempos, using single, double or triple timing. Westcoast Swing is more challenging to learn to begin with, but many people fall in love with this dance once they get the hang of it. It is danced to slower-paced swing music, but also works well to R & B, and popular dance music. Previous exposure to triple rhythm eastcoast swing is helpful.

All Level 1 classes are designed for those with little or no experience or whom wish to review their basics. Where no level is specified, all levels are welcome.
