Whether you are buying a home or, are an existing homeowner, this site is designed to be a valuable Information Centre for you.
If you are purchasing a house in the Vancouver area, you have a very short amount of time to choose a reliable home inspector. One industry survey found that only 38% of home buyers in Vancouver were generally satisfied with their home inspector. It appears you have only a 1 in 3 chance of finding a decent house inspector.
So, how do you find someone that can give you reliable information about matters that you know little about in a short time frame?
This site has three main objectives:
- To provide you with an appreciation of the complexity of the Art of House Inspections.
- To provide you with an understanding of how the various home inspection standards will influence the quality of the information you will receive from the home inspection.
- To provide you with selected technical information on houses.
