Art has a sacred function to perform in the education and the evolution of a human being. The performing arts in particular treat the whole person as an instrument of creativity:  sharpening the senses, exercising the imagination, practicing the art of relationship and the craft of language, encouraging the interplay of body, mind, emotions and intuition as we responsd to Life.  Play is the learning impulse in its purest form,  naturally awakening our desire to take part in creation, and to seek one's true voice.
