Whether you are focused on a career in the performing/media arts, rely on your voice at work, or are exploring personal development, The Open Voice offers a compassionate and experienced point of view, and a methodology  adapted to each individual's unique situation:  drawing on twenty-five years of experience (as a student, practitioner and teacher of voice, bodywork, health/fitness, dance, theatre, music, spoken art and communications) to provide a practical, integrated and holistic plan for vocal development.  Speaking and singing become complimentary elements that together serve to improve range, clarity and resonance, while fostering greater confidence and a deeper awareness of vocal potential.  Special attention can be given to the diagnosis and treatment of negative vocal patterns, habits adding to vocal wear & tear, and other 'impediments' to an open, free voice.

In the last two and a half decades, I have enjoyed creating programs for people of all ages and levels of experience, and from all walks of life: actors (professional and amateur), broadcasters, opera singers, teachers, lawyers, salespeople, public servants, students in elementary grades, high schools, colleges & universities, seniors, military personnel, office workers, health professionals, and the occasional aspiring rock star!
