Introduction
Class Action law is relatively new to the Common
Law Jurisdictions of Canada. Ontario was the first to pass its
Class Proceedings Act in 1992 followed closely by British Columbia
in 1995. Michael R. Dunn is called in both British
Columbia and Ontario to enable the firm to represent Class Members
both provincially
and nationally.
Class Proceedings are essential for cases where
either the amount of damages is not great on an individual basis
or the cost and
complexity prohibit individual actions from being brought. If
you have a case that may affect many other people in Canada then
please
