Ils s'embarqueront sur le TAUREAU pour aller en Nouvelle-France"
François Peron or Péron was a victualler of La Rochelle, on contract to the "Communauté des Habitants" (community of the Inhabitants of Nouvelle-France). The Communauté was responsible for the management of the affairs of Nouvelle-France during this period. A council elected by the citizen. Jean Bourdon was one of the member of the council, resided in Quebec but went to France nearly every year.

The ship TAUREAU was a 150 tuns (a tun is about a ton) flute, a strictly commercial vessel, belonging for 75% to François Peron and 25% to its captain Élie Tadourneau.

The ship arrived at Québec on August 6, 1658.

I have looked summarily in the Jetté Dictionary to see if these people were listed. The ones not found might still be there, under another name or variation of name. In particular, Mathurine Lacroze might be listed as someone's wife and this makes it difficult to find her.
