To unsubscribe send a message to the same address containing the word :

UNSUBSCRIBE

(Turn off your signature files, etc.)

Further instructions about the list will be in the welcome message you receive when you subscribe.

POSTING ADDRESS DIFFERENT THAN SUBSCRIBE/UNSUBSCRIBE ADDRESS: For subscribers in both forms -L and -D, to post a query or genealogy information to the Washington County IL Mail List, send an email to: ILWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com and your one message will go to all subscribers at once.
