Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta ,Canada, Mike considers himself fortunate to have worked professionally in multiple fields ranging from Storyboarding for Film and Advertising, Concept design, Character Design, Illustration, Makeup and Special Effects for Film and Theatre, Prop construction, Sculpture and Portraiture. His greatest strengths lie in his flexibility, attention to detail, and determination to get the job done on time and to meet or exceed a clients expectations.

Mike has been working professionally for over a decade and obtained a BFA in Painting and Drawing with Distinction from Concordia University in 2003 as well as he holds certification in 3D Animation and Effects.
