Title:Asteroid Safari
Course: Computer Graphics (CPSC 314)
Timeframe:01.2005 - 04.2005
Description:A 3D shooter game. Written in C++ with help of OpenGL and GLUT libraries. The game doesn't have any platform-specific dependencies and can be compiled on any OpenGL-enabled system.
The player is on a small asteroid (spherical terrain) with a weak atmosphere. The only sources of oxygen are weird creatures resembling Earth's kangaroos. They consist primarily of water and can be evaporated. Each kangaroo has enough water to supply the atmosphere with oxygen for a few seconds. The player has a limited number of missiles and an unlimited laser to crunch down these beasts.
