Even though I signed on to be a mechanical engineer, I enjoyed this course. It was more like puzzle-solving. Kind of like doing cross-words only using differential calculus. It was a good balance of theoretical and practical. The prof we had was very good as well, and is probably still teaching the course. But two bits of advice:
Since I had my second-year courses rearranged a bit (due to transferring from the College) I got a waiver for two pre-requisites for this course - MATH 133 and MATH 201. Material from both of these courses were used in ELEC 250, but I was able to pick up the techniques 'on the fly', and didn't have too much trouble. But it still would have been helpful for me to have a better understanding of the mathematical tools. Anyways... Assuming the assignments haven't changed, I have the solutions. I only have labs #1 and #3, and no midterm. I lent out the rest of my material a couple of years ago, and never got it back (D.M., if you're reading this, please send it back to me!). E-mail me and I'll send you what I have. |
