MECH 330

This course was like being subjected to a head X-ray.

You sit there for 50 minutes, while this intense emitter at the front of the room rapidly bombards you with very small particles of information.  You know this form of radiation is causing brain damage at a cellular level, but since it's painless, you continue to sit there and take it.  After the class, you leave feeling nauseous from being exposed to such a massive dose of highly-excited energy.

For those of you who don't know what I'm rambling about, see MECH 241.

You know, the material in this course isn't that complicated.  But our prof presented it in such a way that the overall picture and concepts were completely skipped in lieu of attention to little details.

We had six long assignments (approx. 10 questions each), a brutal midterm (which I failed miserably) and a final.  In the end, I managed to scrape by with a 'B' - this is because the final was open-book/open-notes.

Important hint:  Most of the final exam questions were taken straight from examples done in class.  So attend EVERY DAMN CLASS and take good notes.  In other words, spend more time taking good notes than trying to listen to what is being said.  It might be your saving grace.

Again, I still have all my assignments, labs, and midterms etc.  E-mail me, and I'll send you what I have.
