MECH 435

This course is the perfect example of how very practical, useful subject matter can be completely obscured by an over-emphasis on theory.

True, there are some concepts that this course covers that are most relevant for mechanical engineering.  Among them are how to transform very complex mechanical systems into one elegant little equation that can be plugged into controls software.  But overall, we spent most of the course dickering away with over-complicated labs and graphical analysis.

More to come.
