I have other projects/interests, but this is the one that I feel worthy of posting right now. More will come...
Yes, it's made of paper - regular shopping-bag paper. Yes, it works. The only catch is that you have to wind it every four hours. The axles are metal, a couple of the pins are wood, and I had to use glue to hold it together, but overall, it's made of paper. I worked from plans, and I still have the stencils - perhaps I'll make a metal version some day. |
