Residential Still

Automatic Residential Alcohol Distiller

Many developed nations permit alcohol distillation for personal use.  This device was designed to explore an untouched market, directed at producing ethanol alcohol for consumption or fuel.   The design is ready for prototyping, and a PowerPoint™ presentation is available here (once it downloads, hit "F5" and use the arrow keys to flip through the slides).

Key Benefits

  • Compact, minimal power consumption - 110 or 220 Volts.
  • Produces fuel for a fraction of the price of gasoline - ideal for scooters.
  • Cost effective - unit costs less than $1200 CAD.
  • Engineering calculations and drawings available upon negotiation.

Design team:    Scott Hall, Jesse Maddaloni, Andrew Stringer, Peter Trotter
