If the file does not automatically open in Google Earth, here's a few things to try: Set your browser to associate KML and KMZ files with GE. For Firefox, see this post about one way to do this. Save the link to your local drive and either open it in GE or double-click it Use Add/Network Link... in GE to add the location to your Places
