If perchance one day we should meet
You'll see one who stands barely five feet
At one hundred and eight
I am not overweight
My eyes brown and hair too, short and neat

I'm not into leather or lace
Launch one thousand ships, not this face
But I'm petite and attractive
With a mind bright and active
As you'll find if we meet face to face

I'm really quite nice, sometimes naughty
My pastimes more witty than sporty
I like melodies classic and folk
I sip wine and, alas, I do smoke
My age, on the far side of forty

For I'm a woman quite in my prime
And in my life I do have some time
To enjoy a flirtation
With one whose wit and education
Are at least the equal of mine!
