If you happen to be planning a trip to Toronto in the early part of May, you might want to check out the details of the 3rd Annual Toronto Jewish Film Festival.

And speaking of trips, I went to Portland for a Seder at the home of my friend Rachel and her family. Rachel and I first "met virtually" last summer on Internet Relay Chat (IRC). When Rachel, Bob and Alden vacationed in BC after Rosh Hashanah, they came to my home for Friday night dinner.

They are a musical family (especially Alden who is the most adorable 3 year-old I have ever met!), and we had a very freilich "real life" shabbat. So, a few days before my journey, while my chicken soup was simmering and the kugel cooking, I was thinking musical thoughts and went off in search of some notes on the WWW.

As I write this column, I am listening to the original version of "Jerusalem the Gold", which I brought over to my computer from the Jerusalem Mosaic . And my next selection will be a traditional song with a slightly different beat: Lecha Dodi sung by the Kohavim Tikvah, a youth singing group in the congregation of the Abayudaya Jews of Uganda.

Readers who have a particular interest in Jewish music, might want to peruse the postings in the newsgroup There I found a link to a page called Rock Around the World. Music from the good old days!

While I was "downloading" a sound-bite of Bob Dylan singing, I went back to the newsgroup where I found the definitive "Hebrew Geek Code" (HGC). "Geek", btw (of course, you remember from my last column that btw is "Internet-speak" for by the way) is actually a "term of endearment" applied to those who are computer literate!

And the code? Watch for the next "Internet Traveller" column in your JWB!
