Dr. Barone completed his seven-year doctorate at Western States Chiropractic College (WSCC) in Portland Oregon in March, 2000. He was a member of the WSCC Sport-Med Team, treating athletic injuries at numerous marathons and tournaments.

He opened NewPort Village Chiropractic on October 1st, 2000, the same day he became licensed to practice in BC, at the age of 28. In addition, he is involved in local events including the annual Festa Italiana, and supports the Port Moody Black Panthers Junior Hockey Club.

Dr Barone is an associate member of the The International Federation of Sports Chiropractic/Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS) and is in the process of completing his post-graduate diploma in chiropractic sports sciences (ICSSD).
