BC Health Guide

Years ago the Government of BC published a health guide to help people know when to go to a Doctor for help and to provide information about general health concerns. As with most things the more educated we are the better we are able to make decisions. I was surprised when it came out years ago when people commented that it was a waste of money and upon hearing these comments I asked if they had read it. At first I was surprised when people answered no but it did make sense because those who had read it had a different opinion.

Now recognize that I see the body in a wholistic way. I use and educate others about how healthy diet and lifestyle can maintain health and what natural remedies can be  used to change  our afflictions. From an allopathic point of view and even a wholistic point of view the BC Health Guide is a book that should be in every household. The latest editions of these handbooks are available at many drugstores, compliments of our provincial government. Take time to look at it, understanding and prevention go a long way towards health.

If you are looking for an excellent wholistic book Prescription for Natural Healing has a recent edition and these are available at a health food store or book store. There is an explanation of nutrients, herb and supplements. Details of conditions and recommendations and things to avoid add up to make this book very worth the $36 price. This book as doubled in size over several editions. Excellent reading!! Excellent gift!
