Lisa's Corner
DECEMBER 2007

Wow it’s been cold lately. I’ve been trying to stay indoors as much as possible to escape the freezing weather. Lately I’ve been doing the basic same old stuff, going to school and such.

The Vanderhoof Children’s Theater is performing “Annie Jr.”. I’m stage managing this one and just loving it. The cast and crew are real great and have pulled together well to give an awesome show, in my opinion, night after night. We started performing at the end of November in Prince George. They did three school shows and two public shows and the PG Playhouse. The kids really enjoyed it and the performances went very well. We’ve done four school shows in Vanderhoof and three public performances. Public performances are Thursday Friday and Saturday (December 13th, 14th and 15th) nights at 7 pm in the Small Auditorium at NVSS. Admission is by donation.

A couple other important things coming up this month is Christmas of course. Everyone is in a sort of hustle to get what they need to prepare for the year-long awaited holidays. That’s pretty exciting. Also coming up is a whole new year. I’m really excited about that one because it’s the year I graduate in and it makes everything seem just a little closer.

Last thing on my list is, a good friend of mine is getting married this weekend so I just wanted to congratulate her and her fiancé.

Congrats Dawn and Duston! God bless you both in your marriage!

Well that’s all for this month, I’ll write again in the New Year, 2008.
