Summer is finally here. I’m actually pretty happy to be finally off of school for a bit and able to relax during the days. The last couple of weeks of school were really busy and there was lots of work to get done. Studying was occupying a ton of my time but I’m done all my exams finally. I’m all done grade 11 and soon to be going to grade 12. I’m excited and nervous about graduating next year but I guess that is still some time away. I got to go to grad this year along with dry grad and all the great activities around that. It was really fun and it looks like a lot of work was put into it. I’ve been counselling at Echo Lake Bible Camp the last couple of weeks. The camp has changed a great deal since last summer. Most of the trees have been cut down due to the pine beetle problem. I’ve enjoyed it so far and am looking forward to a nice summer, mostly out there but at home also.  On Canada Day, the group from Echo Lake were in the Annual Canada Day Parade in Fort St. James. There was a pretty big turn out and the day was nice and warm. That night we watched the fireworks that they had there. They were pretty impressive. Well that’s about it for this month, hope that everyone is enjoying the beautiful summer we are having.
