HOPS Humulus Lupulus

Can’t sleep? Try Hops tea! Hops is an excellent nervine and works well in cases of insomnia. Three cups of tea daily tones the liver and digestive tract. The tea is good for a nervous stomach, poor appetite and gas or cramps. Hops increases the flow of bile and urine. Hops is also an excellent herb to use in poultice and is often combined with chamomile flowers. Try the combination for boils, swellings and skin inflammations. Hops should not be used in cases of depression as hops may accentuate the depression.
