Graduation Ceremonies are finally over! It’s a weird feeling to work for so long towards something and then have it over. I still have until the end of the school year of course but the ceremonies are finished for this year. The ceremonies went very well. Friday night was the Grand March, which was announced by Mr. Parker. All the graduates went up on stage with their dates in their gorgeous formal wear. There were some absolutely stunning dresses there that night. Also that night there was a slide show to highlight each grad individually and our class as a whole and the trip taken to get to where we are now. Following the Grand March and slideshow was a dance for the graduates, which was fun. Saturday night was the actual graduation; there were lots of people there and a great many sponsors that donated money towards scholarships, which were given to many of the graduates. The speeches were all very well done, and spoke of the power of dreaming and putting the effort in to achieve those dreams, no matter how hard life may get or how much one would want to give up. Overall the grad ceremonies were well done and it was good to, well, graduate! Dry grad was very well done and I would like to thank all the parents and teachers involved with that, it was an awesome time for me. Well I hope everyone is enjoying the sun and the near end of the school year.
