OCTOBER 2007

Lately I’ve noticed there are a lot of beautiful colors outside on the trees, and I guess that means that fall is here. I love the month of October. Everyone has finally gotten into routine and it means my birthday is getting pretty close.

The last week of September I got the chance to go to London, Ontario for a week. I was there for a conference called CSLC, Canadian Student Leadership Conference. We went out there on the Monday and took the red eye from Vancouver. Flying overnight always seems to take longer. When we arrived in Toronto, we drove to Niagra Falls. This was the first time I had seen the falls and they were beautiful. There weren’t too many people there so I got lots of good pictures. The conference was pretty good. They had a lot of really great speakers and the schedule was jam-packed with activities. It was a nice week.

Our Viking Football team has been doing amazing. At the moment they have won every game they have played, putting them at wins and no losses. I’ve watched 3 of those games and each one was great. They played Quesnel on the 4th of October, in Vanderhoof. It was a great game. They have one more game before the playoffs and I know they are pretty excited about that.

Well that’s about it for this month.
