Add
2/3 cup brown
sugar and one beaten egg to ½ cup cooled, melted butter and
blend well. Mix ½
cup flour, 1 tsp cinnamon and one cup hemp hearts separately. Add dry
ingredients to butter mix. Drop by spoonful onto greased cookie sheet
and bake
at 350 until edges are crisp, about 5 minutes.
The
kids and
husband will never know how packed with nutrients these little morsels
are.
Excellent for packed lunches and snacks!
I
use
rice bran
instead of flour and use ¼ c of real maple syrup and reduce the
sugar to ¼ c, I
use demererra sugar.
Could
substitute
sesame seeds.
