Why purple and documentation

The back of the $10 bill was purple and it also had Mt Burgess on it which is the Mountain that RML used for their logo. Purple is the colour of money


This car was special ordered by Universal Sales & Service, Calgary Alberta
for the Rocky Mountain Life Insurance Company.

This is the original Ford invoice, it shows all the options



The build sheet is used as the car moves down the line, this was supposed to be discarded when finished.
On the bottom of the build sheet is the note "hood and fenders WT9083", this is the special paint color.

Fleet cars could be ordered with other than factory standard colors from the special order paint selector.



Each page was a color chip with a code number



WT9083 is in the purple, maroon, lavender and pink section of the special order color selector



The color match is perfect even after all of these years.



Each car was issued with a fleet maintainence guide



Each car also had a card that identified it as one of the Rocky Mountain Life cars



Ford issued the warranty card which matches the information on the door data plate, in addition there is the in service date.
The DSO shows the actual order number while A6639 identifies Universal Sales and Service.
Build date (20E) was 20 May and it went into service June 28, 1969



Information was also entered into the owners manual at the time the car was placed into service
